The Importance of Workplace Safety Posters

Workplace safety posters play an important role in effective safety communications, safety precautions and safety warnings to workers. It is one kind of safety communication. Their applications in chemical industries are very common where various potential hazards present.

Safety regulations and legal require the use of workplace safety posters. Generally, these posters have to be placed in workplaces where hazards exist. They warn workers about specific hazards that accompany their jobs and naturally appear in such workplaces.

Government or Department of Labor in each country has may already established the required workplace safety posters. And in some cases, the government has prepared these printed posters that can be used directly.

When the safety regulation requires such posters application, there will be certain penalties or fines for violations. In general, the employers will be fined when workers get injured due to lack of safety posters as required by the regulations.

Some employers may think that these posters for workplace are only devoted for the workers or employees. But, actually they are wrong. These posters are purposed to protect both workers and employers.

Employers would not responsible for any incident happen in the workplace if they have applied the required posters. As an example is the usage of eye goggle. When the employers have displayed the poster of eye goggle according to the regulation, then when worker or employee gets injured by chemical splash without using eye goggle, the employer does not responsible. The reverse condition is also applied.

However, before displaying any safety posters in the workplaces, always bear in mind that these posters should be relevant, clear and to the point. Use only common words and communicative images or pictures to get workers’ attention.

7 Steps to a Profitable Product Launch

If you want a successful product launch follow these seven steps.

1. Determine the needs of your customers by emailing a survey to find out what their interests are and what they would like to learn more about. After reviewing their surveys, thank your customers for their responses and inform them of the new product you are developing to meet their needs. This was done recently with one of my latest products and I received purchase orders from four percent of my current customers.

2. Develop products that meet your client’s needs and interests. This is the most difficult part of the product, is to take time to create it. When releasing the product it should be complete and robust, matching your marketing newsletters and promotional campaigns. Do not cut any corners on product creation which could hurt your credibility for future releases and products. I have customers who buy everything I have created and released. They do this because they know I deliver valued products and I deliver them on time and with highest quality.

3. Let your customers know you have a new product in development and when they should anticipate your release. Make sure they get all your promotional campaign emails and links to your product website.

4. Partner with other internet resellers and marketers who may have similar customers to provide joint campaigns and release newsletters.

5. Ensure your website is functioning properly. Make sure all your links work correctly, that your product is presented appropriately, your payment gateway is functioning and your thank you pages are operational and providing your customers with an appropriate thank you message. Ask your customers for their suggestions on their ease of use with your website and implement their suggestions when possible. Create a message board to identify customer contributions and results of those contributions.

6. Create a marketing landing page that will draw immediate and positive attention and traffic to your product. Understand what it takes to write a good article and content for your website and sales materials. Remember that a bad promotional campaign can have disastrous effects on even the best products.

7. Finally release your product! Send out an email to all your customers with a link to your website and product promotion page. Let them know the product they have been waiting for has been released and ready for their consumption. Repeat the email notifications for a couple of days and then sit back and collect your profits.

Why Your Product or Service Is Destined To Be A Flop!

Starting a business, creating a product or launching a service and only then beginning to consider your marketing or trying to figure out who will buy it is a sure way to make it a flop.

Unfortunately it is still being done by aspiring ‘entrepreneurs’ everyday. People are writing books, registering companies and starting on building websites and spending years programming only to run into a roadblock when it comes to making sales.

The mentality of ‘build it and they will come’ no longer works to a large extent. Nor does just throwing up a website and expecting to make money because 1,000 other people are doing it. If you haven’t taken the time to research and plan a smart brand image, taken into consideration who your target market will be and plan your marketing and positioning and to really calculate if your business model can be profitable and attract the volume of customers you need to make the money you want ahead of time you are setting yourself up for failure.

Wouldn’t it be much easier and smarter to have a large pool of fans and customers already begging for a product or service and simply filling that need instead? This means immediate, almost effortless sales and instant profitability!

This doesn’t mean that your ideas should be shelved or are without value. Perhaps they are exactly what is desired or with a little tweaking can be positioned that way.

How can you achieve this? It is a lot easier than you think. Find a niche, position yourself as an expert in it and build a large network of contacts. This can be done through online social networks like Facebook, Twitter and Google+ as well as with blogs and even through print and personal networking.

Imagine the difference in having 100,000 prospects lined up and with many even pre-ordering or buying in bulk on your launch date! Compare that to having invested all of your capital in a product or website, having no sales yet, no prospects in the pipeline at without the cash to go back and re-work your offering to actually make it appeal to those it was meant for.

On top of this of course having a pre-established network already sets you up to unleash a series of increasingly more profitable products with higher price tags and that will sell themselves.

This is really the ideal strategy today for those who are getting into business for themselves purely to make money. However, this should not dissuade those of you who are really driven and inspired to create a specific product or service or to start an enterprise of your own that you are really in love with. Do it and find a way to capitalize on it or make money with it. Just recognize what you are up against and understand that while it may be more fulfilling you may be sacrificing some sales.
